OUR MANAGING PARTNER

Ruel Woolcock LL.B (Hons)

Ruel Woolcock graduated from the Norman Manley Law School in 1999 and was admitted to the Bar in September 1999. Immediately Ruel went into private practice with the firm Henlin Gibson Henlin where he worked primarily as a court room litigator in both criminal and civil proceedings. In late 2000 he joined the government in the Ministry of Housing as a Real estate Attorney and Conveyancer. During that time Ruel gained significant experience and expertise in the major areas of Real Estate Law, Contracts and the Law of Succession having worked on major joint venture projects involving the Government and Private Real Estate Developers.

Ruel also negotiated many major land sales and acquisitions on behalf of the Government during his tenure with the Ministry of Housing and has developed a healthy working relationship with major players in the Real Estate industry such as the National Housing Trust, Jamaica Mortgage Bank, Housing Agency of Jamaica, Taxpayer Audit and Assessment Department, Office of Titles as well as the major Building Societies and a host of other entities/individuals. Ruel is the consumate professional who prides himself in offering fast and efficient service to his many clients who hail from not only Jamaica but also, England, the United States, Holland, Canada, the Cayman Islands, St. Marteen and other Caribbean territories. This wide cross section of clients underscores the ability of Ruel to adapt and relate to almost anyone - from major corporate entities to the average man.
